Eddy Yi is a PGA Member and dedicated golf professional with a lifelong passion for the game. Introduced to golf at a young age by his sister, a former LPGA Tour player, Eddy developed a deep appreciation for the sport and a desire to help others enjoy and improve their game.
A former Division I collegiate golfer at the University of California, Riverside, Eddy brings both high-level playing experience and a student-first mindset to his instruction. Since graduating in 2022, he has committed himself to a career in teaching, combining his competitive background with a thoughtful, adaptable approach to coaching.
Eddy believes that no two swings—or students—are the same. He tailors each lesson to the individual, focusing on their unique mechanics, goals, and learning style. Whether working with beginners or experienced players, he takes pride in building trust, understanding personalities, and adjusting his communication style to suit each student. His ability to connect on a personal level helps create a positive and productive learning environment.
To further enhance his instruction, Eddy utilizes advanced technology, including the GC Quad Launch Monitor and video analysis. These tools allow him to deliver clear, data-driven feedback and measurable progress, giving students a deeper understanding of their swing and performance.
Fluent in both English and Korean, Eddy is committed to making golf accessible and enjoyable for a diverse range of students. With his blend of technical knowledge, playing experience, and people-first teaching style, Eddy strives to be a valuable asset to any instructional team and a trusted coach to every golfer he works with.
