Scott enjoyed a 20 year sales and marketing career prior to starting the Professional Golf Management Program as a 48 year old apprentice professional. He graduated the University of Richmond in 1990 with a BA in American Studies. In college he worked part time at the Westhampton golf shop for then Head Professional, Bill Spellman.

After college, Scott spent 4 years in the USMC attaining the rank of Corporal during the first Gulf War.

When Scott is not coaching, fitting or caddying he enjoys working out and playing “Wordle”.
