Cole Jones, PGA, a Class A PGA of America Golf Professional, joins the PGA of America Coaching Center after most recently serving as an assistant golf professional at Colonial Country Club in Fort Worth. Starting in 2021, Jones helped develop and coach one of the most successful junior golf programs in the region, tripling weekly program participation in three years.
A 2022 graduate of Sam Houston State’s PGA Golf Management University Program, Jones also obtained his PGA Specialist Certification in Coaching & Teaching in 2024. He also serves on the PGA Teaching & Coaching Committee where he has the opportunity to collaborate with fellow PGA of America Golf Professionals and help shape the future of player development.
Jones began his Teaching & Coaching career as an intern at Wade Hampton Golf Club in Cashiers, North Carolina; Cordillera Ranch in Boerne, TX; Grand Pine Golf Club in Conroe, TX; , and Bluejack National in Houston.
When he’s not coaching, Jones can be found exploring the great outdoors. He’s also an active member of First Baptist Church in Keller.
