Eric has been playing and teaching golf for nearly 50 years. He is a native of Columbus, Ohio and was an accomplished player and member of a high school state championship golf team. (Jack Nicklaus alma mater, Upper Arlington) Since then, he has been playing amateur golf tournaments, teaching, and being an avid student of the game and its rich history. He is currently a full time, certified (PGA associate, PGA Hope, GOLFTEC, David Leadbetter, Sportsbox.AI) teaching professional and personal coach.
Eric has a passion for advanced video technology and 3D measurement solutions (including Sportsbox.AI) related to the golf swing. He spent nearly two years teaching at GOLFTEC where he viewed and analyzed over ten thousand swings from hundreds of students in northern New Jersey.
He recently started his own, independent teaching business (Simon Says Golf) based out of Montclair, NJ to service golfers of all ages and abilities for both indoor, outdoor, and virtual instruction. He currently is accepting students to his portfolio of nearly 400 students across Bergen and Essex counties in northern New Jersey.
