I didn’t grow up playing golf. I came from a football and track background, and like a lot of athletic golfers, I originally relied too much on strength and effort in the swing. Once I discovered golf in college, I quickly fell in love with the challenge of the game and became passionate about learning how to swing more efficiently, practice with purpose, and play more consistent golf.
That experience now shapes the way I coach.
I specialize in helping golfers simplify the swing, improve consistency, and better understand why the ball is doing what it’s doing. My goal is to make instruction clear and easy to apply, whether you’re trying to eliminate big misses, improve ball striking, develop a better short game, or finally make your practice transfer to the course.
I spent 2 years at Northstar Golf Club before spending 5 years at Dayton Country Club, where I ran instructional programs and gave thousands of lessons to players of all skill levels. In 2023, I was honored as the Southern Ohio PGA Associate of the Year. I later transitioned to a one-on-one indoor coaching environment before joining Heatherwoode Golf Club and NCR Country Club as a PGA Teaching Professional.
My coaching combines communication, video analysis, and Foresight launch monitor data to create simple, personalized improvement plans for every student. I believe every golfer swings differently, so lessons should never feel one-size-fits-all. Whether you’re a newer player or someone who has taken lessons before but still struggles with consistency, my goal is to help you build a swing and game that feels more natural, repeatable, and confident.
If you’re looking for a coach who will listen, communicate clearly, and give you a structured plan to improve, I’d love to work with you.
