The game of golf can be challenging, and it is my plan to work closely with you to succeed in reaching your personal or professional goals. Whether to win that bet with a buddy, impress your boss, be social with your girlfriends, hang out with kids your age outdoors, or simply learning and perfecting the skill, I want to be a part of all of it. I will provide a fun and comfortable educational environment that is personalized to instill confidence in every individual.
With more than 30 years of teaching experience, Russell D. Glasby has built a reputation for helping golfers of all ages and skill levels play with more confidence, consistency, and enjoyment. As a PGA of America Golf Professional at Glasby Golf Schools, Russell specializes in short game improvement, course management, and junior player development.
A Certified PGA Professional in Teaching & Coaching, Varsity Head Golf Coach, ADM Certified coach, and HOPE Certified instructor, Russell believes there is no “one-size-fits-all” golf swing. His coaching philosophy centers on building each student’s swing around their natural body movements, helping players develop a motion that feels athletic, repeatable, and sustainable for long-term success.
Russell is especially passionate about introducing juniors to the game in a fun, engaging, and encouraging environment that builds both skills and confidence.
When he’s not on the lesson tee, Russell enjoys spending time on the boat with his family. During the winter months, he also serves with the National Ski Patrol and can often be found on the ski slopes when he’s not teaching indoors.
